The box door can be made of metal or non-metallic materials. When the box door is made of glass, flat glass with a thickness of not less than 3 mm should be used. The fire extinguisher box should be upright and free from deformation such as tilting or warping. The floor type should be able to be placed smoothly and should not tilt or sway. The welding or riveting of the fire extinguisher box should be firm, and there should be no defects such as burning through, welding overlap, burrs, and riveting marks. The surface of the box should be treated with anti-corrosion treatment, and the coating should be smooth and flat. The opening operation of the box door and lid should be light and flexible, without jamming. The front of the fire extinguisher box should be prominently marked with the words "Fire Extinguisher Box" in Chinese and "Fire Extinguisher Box" in English, with white lettering. When the door is made of glass, the lettering should be red. The external dimensions of the fire extinguisher box should comply with the provisions of the Chinese public industry standard XF 139-2009 "Fire extinguisher box".
